About the job
Responsible for transporting different types of goods from distribution centers to customer locations using a truck. They are also required to perform inspections before and after a trip, and unload cased products from the trailer to customer facilities.
Requirements & Qualifications
Near and Far Vision — The ability to see details at close and far range (including at night).
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required.
2+ years of proven experience in commercial truck driving preferred.
Clean driving record with no moving violations.
Must pass a background check and drug test.
Control Precision — The ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of the vehicle to exact positions.
Manual Dexterity — The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble.
Static Strength — The ability to exert muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects.
Trunk Strength — The ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without 'giving out' or fatiguing.
Tasks
Drive and operate trucks.
Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.
Pre-inspect truck.
